An aggressive thread profile for limited bone height — work around vital structures with confidence, without grafting procedures.
SHORT™ Implant incorporates an aggressive thread profile and a tapered body, designed for cases where bone height is limited. A 6 mm rough surface lets clinicians confidently navigate around vital structures, removing the need for complex, slow-healing grafting procedures. The flat apex provides safer implantation close to critical anatomical structures.

Reference drilling sequence by bone density classification (Ø4.2 implant shown as example).
Drill to the 4.0–4.5 mm step drill and finish with the tapping drill (strongly recommended). If insertion torque exceeds 80 Ncm, reverse the implant 1 step and continue.
A 1-step narrower drilling protocol is recommended; the tapping drill is optional.
A 2-step narrower drilling protocol is recommended for a stronger apical grip; the tapping drill is optional.
Full step-by-step drilling sequences and torque guidance are provided in the official NOTCH® Instructions for Use accompanying every surgical kit.
